Good morning dear friends, I hope your Monday was good and that today turns out to be even better. I cannot believe how quickly the weeks are flying by – we’re in the second week of May already, although you wouldn’t guess by the freakish weather we’re having at the moment! This week over at passion for promarkers challenge I had the honour of setting the theme and as it was my son’s 17th birthday on Sunday I thought it would be quite apt to have ‘for a teenager’ as our challenge this week. You can make anything you like as long as it’s appropriate for a teenage girl or boy. Don’t forget you must use your promarkers or aqua markers to be eligible for our prize draw. Here is the card I made for my son:
My son plays drums in two local bands (with some friends from school) so this image from Kenny K is just perfect for him – and I’m pleased to report that it was well received!! I distressed all the edges to within an inch of their lives and inked the image panel with a cats eye chalk ink pad. The papers are a bit of a mish mash but the overall result is ok I think. The music notes were bought from eBay when I first started crafting!!
Our sponsor this week is Joanna Sheen and the lucky winner will receive a £10.00 voucher to spend in her online store.
The rest of the design team have created amazing samples once again this week, so please pop over to the challenge blog and check them out. We really appreciate the lovely comments you leave for us.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
I love promarkers challenge – song title (mine is rock star)
The beary sweet challenge – sketch
Pile it on challenge – funny bone (funny image or sentiment)
Cards for men challenge – for someone special
Craft your passion challenge – use checks, plaids or gingham
Pollycraft challenge – boyz to men
Creative inspirations challenge – embossing (the grey card is embossed)
Delightful challenge – mother’s day or someone special

Secret crafter Saturday challenge – dust off your stash (all the papers have been in my stash for years)
I hope you will be able to join in with my challenge this week and I look forward to seeing what you create. I’ve just noticed that it is my 3rd blogoversary tomorrow – wow that crept up on me. I have to say that the past 3 years have been the most enjoyable of my life. I have ‘met’ so many wonderful and generous people. I will have to get some candy together to celebrate!! Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by.
