Hi everyone, I hope you are all having a great week so far and thank goodness it’s Friday tomorrow lol! I got a little confused with my days this week (due to the bank holiday) so forget to schedule my post last night for this week’s charisma cardz challenge, but at least I’m here eventually lol! This week Carly-Ann has given us a theme of ‘anything but a card’, which always strikes fear into me. I know there are lots of options of what to make but my mind always goes blank about what to make haha! I decided to take the easy option this time and make a corner bookmark. They are so easy to make and I followed a tutorial I found here.
I know the last picture is the wrong way around but it was the only way I could show you the whole thing – it was really hard to photograph and it was 12.30am and I was too tired to mess around lol!. I used a gorgeous image from Some Odd Girl called ‘flower girl Mae’ and coloured her with my promarkers. It’s difficult to tell in the pics but I coloured the smaller flowers in her hair with sakura stardust pen so they really sparkle IRL.
Our sponsors this week are Simon Says Stamp who are offering a $20.00 voucher to their online store, Some Odd Girl who are offering 3 digis of the winner’s choice and Crafty Emma’s Store who are offering a £10.00 voucher to spend in their online store.
My fellow teamie Leah is also offering candy on her blog for everyone who uses a Some Odd Girl image and enters our challenge this week. You can check out her post here. The candy up for grabs is a gorgeous Cosmo Cricket Material Girl 6x6 pad and your choice of FOUR digis, or TWO of the new clear stamps from Some Odd Girl!
I would like to enter my bookmark into the following challenges:
