Cupcake craft challenge #126 – DT card

** THIS IS MY SECOND POST FOR TODAY **

Please scroll down to see my Stamp with Fun DT card!

Hello again friends, as promised I’m back with my DT card for this week’s cupcake craft challenge.  This week’s theme has been set by Donna and she has chosen ‘food for thought’, so we would like to see all your cards and projects featuring food!!  The DT were lucky enough to be given images by our sponsor this week and here is my card:

CCC challenge 126 - food for thought

CCC challenge 126 - food for thought (close up)

The image is by Heather Ellis and is from the ‘pure innocence’ range.  I coloured the image with my promarkers but don’t look too closely at her arm as I had a bit of an issue with the colours bleeding lol!  I don’t normally have any problems with the colours bleeding when I use SU whisper white card so it must have just been a one off.

As I mentioned our sponsor this week is Heather Ellis and the lucky winner will receive 3 digi images from her shop.  As you can see from my card Heather’s images are so sweet and there are lots to choose from.

The rest of the design team have created gorgeous samples for your inspiration, so please pop over and check them out.  We appreciate all the lovely comments you leave for us.

Don’t forget we also have our ‘icing on the cupcake’ prizes up for grabs too.  Blue Jelly Stampin’ (our very own Victoria) is offering a one lucky winner, chosen at random, some Stampin’ Up! stash including a selection of 12x12 SU papers, rhinestones and a brilliant Techniques booklet.  We also have Polka doodles who are offering one lucky winner, chosen at random, the scrummy Sundae of Seasons CD Rom and thirdly we have The Paper Shelter who are offering one lucky winner, chosen at random a $10 Gift Certificate to spend in store.  See the challenge blog for pics.

I also want to mention that yesterday we launched our ‘What’s the challenge?  You decide’ competition where we are asking for your suggestions for challenge themes and the lucky winner, chosen at random, will win a guest designer spot for the week of their challenge.  Sounds like fun doesn’t it.  We have already had lots of interesting themes suggested.  You can check out the original post here to leave your suggestion.  The competition is open until 30th January 2011.

I can also enter my card into the following challenges:

The crafty pad challenge – something girly

Cutie Sunday challenge – anything goes

OSAAT challenge – as you like it

For fun challenge – glitter (stardust pen on cupcake)

Let’s craft and create challenge – a stitch in time (faux stitching on pink card)

Do it with digis challenge – pink and girly

Paper cutz challenge – it’s your choice

Simply create challenge – use your punches

Basic grey challenge – flower power (my paper)

Ok, so that’s all from me today.  I’ll be back tomorrow with my DT card for this week’s PFP challenge.  Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by.
