Cupcake craft challenge #125–DT card

Hello again friends, sorry I’m super late with my post again this week.  I did actually manage to make a card for this week’s challenge though, so that’s an improvement (although it did take me a whole day lol!)  Our theme this week has been set by the lovely Liza and she has chosen “weddings”.  The theme this week is quite apt as Liza has set up her own wedding stationary business called Stationary by Me and here’s what Liza has to say about it.

“Stationery by me specialises in beautiful, handmade wedding stationery for your special day.  Each of my collections feature save the date cards, invitations, all of your "on the day" stationery, favours, guest books and thank you cards, and they are all beautifully coordinated and finished to the highest standard.
All of my designs are made with high quality products and they are all individually handmade and are available in a wide range of colours.  I currently have an offer of 20% off all orders placed before the 31st January 2011, so if you or someone you know is getting married, please pop over to  www.stationerybyme.com and take a look at my designs.”  Now I know we’re not really going to sell Wedding Invitations to crafters, but it would be really great if we could give Liza some exposure!  So if you know anyone getting married why not point them in Liza’s direction lol!

I decided to use another of my new Lili of the Valley images called ‘I Do’ and coloured it with my promarkers.  Here is my card:

I went for a monochromatic look (even though my navy card looks black in the pics grrr) and I thought blue was a nice change as I always seem to go for pink!

Our sponsor this week is The Ribbon Girl and the lucky winner will receive a gorgeous ribbon bundle (so jealous!).

Don’t forget we also have our icing on the cupcake prize and this month we are lucky enough to have 3 sponsors – blue jelly stampin’ (i.e. our very own Victoria) and she is offering a Stampin’ Up prize, polka doodles are offering a gorgeous ‘Sundae of Seasons’ CD Rom and the paper shelter is offering a $10 Gift Certificate to spend in store.  Definitely worth playing along, I’m sure you agree!

The rest of the DT (including our GDT Sari) have created amazingly gorgeous wedding cards this week, so please pop over and check them out.  We really appreciate all the lovely comments you leave for us.  You certainly kept us busy last week with over 400 entries (I was frazzled trying to choose my top 5 lol).

I can also enter my card into the following challenges:

Ok, so that’s it for me.  I will also be doing a catch up post for the PFP challenge but again that is going to be late (story of my life at the moment).  I am going to see the physiotherapist in the morning so let’s hope she can ease the pain in my back a little, although she is quite rough so I’ll probably be aching even more afterwards lol!  Have a great evening and thanks for stopping by.
