Good morning friends, I hope you are all keeping warm – it’s freezing here, although we haven’t had any more snow (thank goodness). We’re still dealing with the icy roads and pavements though. My youngest son hasn’t had any school this week yet as the school premises are too icy, so he’s really happy.
Over at charisma cardz challenge this week we have a fantastic sketch for you to use but we have an added twist that you can only use a sentiment as the main focal point – we don’t want to see any images this week! Here is the sketch:
Here is my card:
I have used a gorgeous digital sentiment from raindrop echo (available at whimsy stamps) and I’ve hand-cut it and lightly coloured the borders and snowflakes with my promarkers. I have to say I’m not that happy with my card as I think I printed the sentiment a little too large for my circle. It also probably has something to do with the fact that I’m so used to having an image as my focal point.
We have two generous sponsors this week. Firstly we have Simon Says Stamp who are offering one lucky winner a $20.00 voucher for their online store.
Our second sponsor is Meljen’s Designs and they are offering one lucky winner 4 digi's of their choice. They have so many cute images you will be spoilt for choice!
My fellow teamies have created amazing samples once again this week, so please pop over to the challenge blog and leave them some love!! We really appreciate your support of our blog and love reading your comments.
I can also enter my card into the following challenges:
The crafty pad challenge – snowflakes
Cards for men challenge – Christmas cards
The paper variety challenge – tic tac toe (I went for a card, holiday theme and I used my cuttlebug to die cut the nestie)
Stampavie and more challenge – snow/snowflakes
Allsorts challenge – monochrome
Paper play challenge – monochrome
Top tip Tuesday challenge – anything goes
I hope you have a wonderful Thursday and that you will find the time to enter our challenge this week. Keep warm and thanks for stopping by.
