Here I am again, this time with my DT card for the cupcake craft challenge. The theme this week has been set by the lovely Catherine and she has chosen “books and stories”. Here is my card:
I've used an image called 'Mae as Alice' by some odd girl. My card is based on Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll. I remember reading this book as a little girl and thinking how brave Alice was and how amazing all the creatures were. It was my favourite book for many years.
Our sponsor this week is Simon Says Stamp and the lucky winner will receive a $20.00 gift voucher plus free shipping (I am so jealous as they have lots of gorgeous goodies in their store).
We also have a sponsor for September and that is Little Claire Designs. If you take part in two or more challenges this month you will go into the draw to win this cute little stamp:
The rest of the DT have created gorgeous samples for your inspiration. They have all explained why they have chosen their particular image so why not pop over and take a look. We all appreciate your lovely comments.
I can also enter my card into the following challenges:
Some odd girl challenge – sketch
Crafty sentiments challenge – summer inspiration (my colour scheme)
Sentimental Sunday challenge – 1 solid paper, 2 patterns, 3 embellishments (lace, pearls and stickles) and sentiment
