A clean and simple card

Hello fellow crafters I hope you are all keeping well.  The weather has been melting hot here today and it’s supposed to be even warmer tomorrow (which is technically today as I’m writing this at 2.30am!!).

I’m sharing a card I made for a friend at work whose neighbour was retiring.  She wanted something with ‘tools’ on it.  Now as my printer is still on the blink I rummaged through my stamps and found this FF image, which was ideal.  Here is my card:

Whilst I was looking through my craft drawers I also discovered the fab brads, which look like real screw heads and they were perfect for my card.  I kept the layout very clean and simple as I think it suited the colour scheme.

I am entering my card into the following challenges:

Crafty cardmakers challenge – cards for men

Papertake challenge - sketch

Charisma cardz challenge – for the boys

Rainbow lady’s challenge – ice cream/ice cream colours (I used vanilla and chocolate colours)

Polka doodles challenge – something for a boy

Have a great Sunday, hope the weather is glorious where you are.  I’ll be back later with my last GDT card for the Stamptacular challenge but until then, thanks for stopping by.

  6. I love those screw head brads, only thing is, my anutie saw them on one of my cards and asked me to get her some as she couldn't! They are just the bee's knee's on men's cards...and have you noticed , they go straight to them, don't even notice the carefully coloured image!
