Susie’s sassy challenge #11 – DT card

SSC #11 - springtime garden

SSC #11 - springtime garden (close up)

The new challenge over at Susie’s sassy challenge has been chosen by Sally and is ‘springtime garden’ – you can interpret that any way you like!  For my card I used a pretty digi image by Mo’s digital pencil called ‘secret garden’ and I coloured it with my promarkers.  All of the gorgeous papers are PM from the aptly named ‘rose garden’ paper pack and the plain card is from the papermill shop.  I used my CB and embossed the green card with my ‘daisy pattern’ embossing folder.  The gems are from my stash and the sentiment is from the ‘happy day’ stamp set by the greeting farm.  The flowers are from wild orchid crafts and the leaves were cut with my MS frond punch.  It’s difficult to see in the picture but I added stickles the flower arrangement and also the flowers on the image.

The prize on offer for this challenge is £10 worth of mystery mix of die cuts and images.  The rest of the DT have created some beautiful and very diverse samples for your inspiration.  Please pop over and take a look if you can.

Now as you know there are quite a few spring challenges out there at the moment so I will also be entering my card into the following:

Friday sketchers challenge – sketch

Incy wincy designs challenge – Easter or spring

Pollycraft challenge – sparkly things (gems & stickles)

Crafty cardmakers challenge – spring into spring

Digital Tuesday challenge – happy spring

Daring cardmakers challenge – bird/birds

Fussy & fancy challenge – green

Allsorts challenge – spring is in the air

Bee crafty challenge – spring

Secret crafter Saturday challenge – spring has sprung

Sweet stampin’ challenge – spring is in the air

Paper jewels challenge – cute and girly

Simple doodles challenge – a little green

Quirky crafts challenge – flowers

Well not too shabby ‘eh?  I hope you all have a wonderful Thursday.  I need to try and catch up with some card orders tonight – I’m falling behind, so must get myself motivated :)  I hope you have chance to join in with our challenge – don’t forget our challenge lasts for 2 weeks so plenty of time to enter.  I can’t wait to see what you create and look forward to visiting your blogs.  Thanks for stopping by today.

  4. How do you like to go up in a swing,
Up in the air so blue?
Oh, I do think it the pleasantest thing
    Ever a child can do!

Up in the air and over the wall,
Till I can see so wide,
Rivers and trees and cattle and all
    Over the countryside.

Till I look down on the garden green,
Down on the roof so brown,
Up in the air I go flying again,
Up in the air and down!

aw...well there you go! A poem I learned as a child and your lovely card reminded me!! (
Thank you for joining Quirky Craft's Flower challenge!
