Susie’s sassy challenge #4 – DT card

SSC #4 - a touch of gold

SSC #4 - a touch of gold (close up)

Hello and welcome to my second ‘catch up’ post!  This is my DT card for Susie’s sassy challenge, which launched last Thursday.  The theme for this challenge is ‘a touch of gold’.  Now as a rule I don’t really use gold – I’m more of a silver person but once I decided on my image and papers it all came together quite well I think.  I used a freebie digi image by Mo’s Digital Pencil called 'little girl in kimono’ (although I separated the girl and her kitten by cutting them out) and I coloured them with my promarkers.  The papers are BG from the wassail paper pad and the black and gold card are from the papermill shop and I embossed the white panel with my divine swirls embossing folder using the ‘bug.  The adhesive stones are PM and the ribbon is dovecraft.  The flowers were cut with my ek success retro flower punches (med & small) and the sentiment is SU from the ‘wow flowers’ stamp set.

I know its a busy time of year but I hope you can find the time to enter the challenge and I look forward to visiting your blogs.  Please take a look at the rest of the DT cards as they are all gorgeous.

The prize this week has been donated by the lovely Dulcie Jackson and this is what one lucky person will win:
