Sad news

I just wanted to let you know that my posting may be a little erratic for a while as sadly my grandfather passed away yesterday. He was a fantastic man and would have been 96 in September. He had a good life and had 6 children so always had lots of family around him, as he did yesterday when he slipped away from us. He was always happy and never let anything get him down, a tip most of us should take from him I think.

I will be around and will be posting but probably not as often as I usually do. Please bear with me as I will need to craft to take my mind off things. Don't know when the funeral will be just yet, so everything is "up in the air". Thanks for stopping by.

    So sorry to hear your sad news Denise. It's never easy saying goodbye to someone close to you but it sounds like your Grandad has had a wonderful life and with so many children (and presumabaly a few grandchildren too) he will have left you with some fabulous memories. I'll be thinking of you over these next few days.
