I made this card for a friend at work and it fits the bill for this week's my time to craft challenge, which is 'it's raining men'. I downloaded the copyright free image from the internet and coloured him with my pro-markers. The dp is also a copyright free download and the plain cs is from the papermill shop. The sentiment was created on the pc and the buttons are from my stash. That's the one problem with making bespoke cards, people always ask for weird and wonderful themes (that I usually don't have a stamp etc for. Thank goodness for the internet lol). I like how this card turned out and my friend was very pleased with it. Thanks for stopping by.
Great card! Thanks for taking part in the MTTC challenge this week xx

That's great Denise and very resourceful of you to find an image on the net. I shudder when I get asked to do a card specific to someone in case it turns out naff. The hardest one once was for a friends grandfather who was 80 and blind but the card was to be "cricket" themed?! That was a toughy for me.

ReplyDeleteHi
ReplyDeleteThis is just lovelly. First time I have come across your blog and I am so glad I did. Where did you get this from? My hubby is just about to go off on his first Terrotorial Army assignment and this would be a great little card to pop in his rucksack for him to find while he is away. I hope you don't mind me asking. Love TerriXX
This is fantastic such a fun and unusual card. The background is great x
ReplyDeleteHi Sorry to be pain and I am sure you have done this for me already - but can you tell me the link for this image. I have searched and searched and can't find it. I nver did make it for my hubby in April but he is coming home after being away with the army next weekend and I would to make it for him as a welcome home card. So sorry to be a nuisance. Many thanks Terri XX
