I was asked to make a card for a 30th birthday for a man who likes cycling. I was stumped at first but then I remembered the see-d's set entitled boys toys. I hardly ever use my see-d's stamps but they are handy to keep for situations exactly like this. I stamped the bike image and added the boys toys sentiment around it. I then used my color box chalk eye ink pads and rubbed them over the image to colour the entire panel. I used plain cs from the papermill shop and panels of dp (I know I've used it before but it was my last piece and I can't remember who makes it!). The black cs is bazzill bling and the star brads are from my stash. The sentiments were done on my pc. I find men's cards a challenge but this was well received, so that's all that matters. A very nice card. I should try making a card like this as my husband loves his Boys Toys. Thing is he likes Stars Wars and Dr Who merchandise, so it would probably need a lot of work, might be better just to buy him one.
