Jo at http://www.jo-onlyjoking.blogspot.com/ is offering fab blog candy and all you have to do is make a pretty and pink card. I had to make a pink and sparkly card for a one year old so thought this would be a good one to enter into Jo's candy draw as well. The image is another Penny Black kindly sent to me by Diane at Pink Sunflower, which I water-coloured with my marvy markers. The DP is from the glitter stack by DCWV. The sentiment was done on my pc and I added stickles and adhesive stones to bling it up!! The 1 glitter sticker is by K & Co. Thanks for looking.

New Home
A friend asked me to make a new home card for her son with an australian feel (as he is currently working in Australia). Luckily I had High Hopes "walkabout wally" and "g'day mate" stamps which were just right for the job. I watercoloured wally with my marvy markers and cut him out. I stamped planks from the woodware mr fix it set in brown stazon and used the pc for the sentiment. Sadly the DP was my last piece and I can't remember what it was called. It's difficult to see in the picture but I raised wally up on foam pads for a 3D effect. Thanks for looking.
Very large card
I was asked by a friend of my mum's to make a large A4 size wedding card. I have made a few large cards for her before and although I find them difficult to do (in so much as it's a large space to fill) she always seems pleased with them. I used 2 large and 2 small Lily of the Valley die-cuts, DP is from an 8x8 wedding stack by DCWV, I used my pc for the sentiment and papermania adhesive stones for a little added bling. I also added stickles to the die-cuts just to lift them. Not my favourite card ever but hey as long as my customer is happy then that's fine by me!! Thanks for looking.
How lucky am I!!
Can you help?
I've been asked to make a card for a chef but currently don't have a suitable stamp. Does anyone have a chef stamp and would kindly stamp one or two images for me? I could do a swap with some other images if you like. The only catch, I need the image fairly soon. If anyone can help me please drop me an email or comment on this post. Thanks for looking.

At the end of the post, the player then tags 5-6 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know they’ve been tagged and asking them to read your blog. Uncle card
It's my BIL's birthday tomorrow so this is a card I made for my boys to give to him. I stamped High Hopes Party Cat and watercoloured him with marvy markers and added stickles to the present and balloons. I again used DP by DCWV (as it was still on my desk). I punched two scallop circles and again distressed them with chalk inkpads. I used my pc for the sentiment and ribbon from my stash. Thanks for looking.
Baby boy card
We've had lots of babies born in work recently, so here is another card I was asked to make. Again I used a Lily of the Valley die cut pram and heart. The sentiment was done on my pc. I used my punches to cut the scallop circle and square and distressed the circle with a chalk inkpad. The DP is by DCWV and from the glitter stack. I added a few Papermania adhesive stones to the die cut and sentiment for added bling! Thanks for looking.
CCT - sketch by Katharina
This is my attempt at this week's CCT challenge, which is a sketch by Katharina. I'm not very confident at sketch challenges so am making myself do more. The stamped image is by Hero Arts from a set called Sparkle You Hoo Owl and the 3 flower gems on this card and the sentiment also come from that set. I watercoloured the image with my marvy markers, added pink ric-rac ribbon and pink card from my stash. DP is by doodlebug. Thanks for looking.

Friend card
My mum asked me to make her a larger sized card (A5) for one of her friend's birthday. I didn't stamp on this one but instead used a fairy image that I had free from a magazine. The plain paper is from a stack I bought ages ago from QVC and the DP is by Basic Grey. The glitter gems are also from QVC and the brad and flower are from my stash. I used my pc to create both sentiments. I added stickles to both fairies wings. I hope my mum likes it. Thanks for looking.
My card for Tracy's blog candy
Tracy at Dies to Die For has fantastic blog candy up for grabs (see earlier post) and all you have to do is make a male themed card for any occasion. Well, as Father's Day is fast approaching I made a card for that. I stamped surfafella and watercoloured him with my marvy markers. I used a sentiment I bought from ebay. Rub-on stitches are by DCWV and are really easy to apply and cut out small circles to highlight the plain blue bazzill card. I've had this swirly blue paper for ages and only had a scrap left, so not sure who it's from, sorry. Thanks for looking.
Cute Card Thursday
I made this card (just in time) for this week's Cute Card Thursday challenge, which is travel/vacation. I thought the little mouse on the snail image was just perfect! (again received from Diane) I added a sentiment by verve visual, brads and ribbon from my stash and paper by Basic Grey (I think it's called Lucky but not too sure). Thanks for looking.

The wonderful Diane at Pink Sunflower has given me these two awards. Thank you so much Diane you have made my day!! Another for my stash
Another birthday card to re-stock my stash. I used an image kindly sent to me by Tracy at Dies to Die For, which I watercoloured with my marvy markers. I again used card from the glitter stack by DCWV, purple card from The Paper Mill Shop, stamp called so birthday by stampendous. I've had the girly brad for ages, it came in a pack of various colours and shapes but can't remember where I got it. Thanks for looking.
Building up my stash!
This is a birthday card that I made to re-stock my stash of cards. I used another image kindly sent to me by Diane, watercoloured with marvy markers. The background glitter flower card is from the glitter stack by DCWV, my trusty gingham card and an acetate flower and brad from my stash. I'm quite pleased with how it turned out. Thanks for looking.
Rugby cards
A friend at work asked me to make 3 thank you cards with a rugby theme. I really struggled with this as I didn't have anything stamp-wise connected with rugby. However I remembered a paper pad I bought a little while ago called Masculine by Dovecraft that had a few rugby sentiments and pics in it. They are all a little the same but my friend was quite happy with them. I used my pc for the wording and the little medical items are from a set by Jolee's. Thanks for looking.
My first challenge
I made this card for the "stamp something" challenge which had to be in the theme of thanks. This is the first one I've attempted but prefer this type than a sketch challenge as I find them too restrictive. I was going to combine this challenge with the Papertake Challenge, which was lime and purple but unfortunately I was a little late (what do you mean you've never seen a purple mouse before *wink*). I used a stamped image that Diane from Pink Sunflower sent me. Background paper was from a stack that I bought ages ago from QVC, purple card was from The Paper Mill shop, ribbon from stash and I put a little stickles on his balloon. Thanks for looking.

Bella wedding card
I made this card for my mum's friend. I used a stamping bella stamp, which I coloured with Marvy markers, I used my pc for the greeting and once again the nostalgia floral backing paper (I think you can tell I love this paper). I added a few papermania adhesive stones to bling it up a little and stickles to the stamped image. Not entirely happy with the colouring in but love the overall look of the card - if I do say so myself hehe! Thanks for looking.
Another stash card
This is another card that I had in my birthday "stash". As you can hopefully see my cards have progressed a little since I began cardmaking. I used to only use pre-done toppers but now I've discovered stamping I love it (although I need some improvement with my colouring). On this card I used a victorian sentiment image topper (from Joanna Sheen) with punched out flowers which have a gem in the centre and gingham backing paper from a Joanna Sheen pad. Thanks for looking.
This is a card from my stash that I made sometime ago. A friend asked me for a card as I was just about to leave for work, so I just stamped the greeting and added the flower. I need to build up my stash of birthday cards as I haven't got many left and it's always handy to have some in stock isn't it. The card is pretty straightforward. I used die-cut decoupage kitties and ever faithful gingham card. Thanks for looking.
