I saw a sketch on the CAS Colours and Sketches challenges blog that I really liked so that was the layout sorted for this card. It is also Uniko's 14th birthday celebrations so I thought I would pull out some oldie but goodie stamps and join in their challenge too. I love the fun flower stamps and I think the card turned out great. I hope you like it too.
Here is my card:
A closer look at the details:
Plus I decorated the inside:
I began by cutting a white panel to 4" x 5 1/4" and stamped the linear pattern stamp in each corner in a grey ink. I also stamped the sentiment in the same grey ink. The flowers are two-step stamps so I stamped the first layer in a light pink ink and the second layer in a medium pink ink and used the matching die to cut them out. I stamped the leaves in the same grey ink and fussy cut them out. I arranged the flowers/leaves as I liked them and adhered the leaves and the lower level flowers with liquid glue and added the top flower with foam squares. I added some scrap white card behind the panel and adhered it to the card base with double sided tape. For the inside I cut another white panel, stamped the linear pattern stamp in both corners and the sentiment in the centre with the grey ink. I added one flower and one leaf to the bottom right corner with liquid glue. I adhered the panel to the card base with double sided tape. A fairly quick and simple card but I think it's really pretty.
I would like to enter my card in the following challenges:

Love the pink and black color scheme. The hatched background adds interest and movement and works beautifully to ground those fabulous florals. So glad you shared this with us at Addicted to CAS this week
