Passion for promarkers #102–DT card

Good morning friends.  I hope you enjoyed your day off from work yesterday, although the weather wasn’t that brilliant was it?  I caught up on some of my recorded TV on Sky+ and did some crafting but apart from that had a really lazy day *yay*.  More of the same for the rest of the week I think lol!

I’m here this morning to share my card for this week’s passion for promarkers challenge and the theme this week has been set by me and I have chosen “sporting marvels”.  That means I want to see all your images that involve sporting activities of some sort.  Don’t forget to be eligible for our prize draw you must use your promarkers or aqua markers.  Here is my card:

PFP challenge 102 - sporting marvels

I have used a fab image from DigiStamp Boutique called ‘golf Alf’ and the papers are papermania from the ‘blueberry pie’ capsule collection.  I embossed a couple of circles with the cuttlebug tiny mosaic embossing folder to try and resemble golf balls for a fun touch.  It can be difficult to find suitable embellishments for men’s cards can’t it!

Our sponsor this week is Sugar Nellie stamps and the lucky winner will receive 4 manga stamps.

The rest of the design team have created amazing samples once again this week, so please pop over to the challenge blog and check them out.  We really appreciate the lovely comments you leave for us.

Cupcake craft challenge #144–DT card

Hello again friends.  I’m back to share my card for this week’s cupcake craft challenge.  I have the honour of setting the theme this week and I’ve chosen a zesty colour combo for you to use:

  CCC 30th May colour challenge

Here is my card:

CCC challenge 144 - zesty colours

CCC challenge 144 - zesty colours (close up)

I really love this bright and cheerful colour scheme and I was really looking forward to using it but for some reason my mojo wasn’t co-operating and I really struggled.  I’m still not 100% happy with this card but it’s much better than my original attempt!!  I love all the individual elements but I just think that something’s missing!  I used a gorgeous image from some odd girl called ‘dancin’ Kaylee’ and most of the papers are SU except for the flowery paper at the top which is from my scrap box.

Our sponsor this week is pink gem designs and the lucky winner will receive 4 images of their choice.

Don’t forget we also have our ‘icing on the cupcake’ sponsor, who for May is Crafts U Love and they are offering one lucky winner a £15.00 gift voucher for their online store.

Passion for promarkers #101–DT card

** THIS IS A MEGA POST TODAY SO GRAB A CUPPA AND GET COMFY **

Good morning dear friends, I have a special passion for promarkers challenge post for you today.  We are so excited as today is our 2nd anniversary and to celebrate we have a lovely theme and also some amazing prizes from our super generous sponsors.  It is also the time for our design teams to trade places, so it’s a sad goodbye to team 1 and a big welcome to team 2.  Sadly one of members of team 2 was unable to return so we have  a brand new member to unveil and that is Lisa from Wishcraft Cards.  Please leave some love for Lisa as she is a little nervous.

Our theme this week is aptly “all the 2’s” so we want to see everything multiplied by 2 i.e. 2 images, 2 papers, 2 colours etc.  As always to be eligible for our prize draw you must use your promarkers or aqua markers.  Here is my card:

PFP challenge 101 - all the 2's

PFP challenge 101 - all the 2's (close up)

I even decorated the inside!

PFP challenge 101 - all the 2's (inside)

The “2’s” on my card are – 2 papers, 2 main colours (with brown as an accent colour), 2 flowers, 2 ribbons, 2 pearls and 2 sentiments – that’s a lot of 2’s!!  I used a brand new digi (for me anyway) from Wee Stamps and she is called ‘spring bringer’ and she is just so adorable.  The gorgeous papers are glittered ( although it’s hard to tell in my pics) and they are also brand new.  They are from the stunning first edition ‘summer breeze’ paper pad.  It is brilliant value for money as there are 64 sheets in each pad (I got mine from Crafty Emma’s store).

Now onto the amazing prizes up for grabs this week.  We have 8 sponsors in total so lots of goodies up for grabs:

* Letraset are offering 2 x stamping kits

* Crafty Emma’s store are offering a £15.00 gift voucher to her online store

* Some Odd Girl stamps are offering 3 digis of the winner’s choice

* Bearly Mine Designs are offering a £10.00 gift voucher to their online store

* The Emerald Faerie Garden are offering 4 digis of the winner’s choice

* Joanna Sheen is offering a £10.00 voucher for her online store

* Pink Gem Designs is offering 4 digis of the winner’s choice

As we will be very busy choosing all our winners we unfortunately won’t be picking a top 5 passionista, but don’t worry it’s only for this week.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Whoopsi daisy challenge – birthday

Stamps & fun = creativity challenge – flower power

Flutterby Wednesday challenge – open theme (optional sketch which I didn’t use)

Cupcake craft challenge #143–DT project

** THIS IS MY SECOND POST FOR TODAY **

Please scroll down for my Stamp with Fun DT card

Hello again friends, as promised I’m back with my DT card for this week’s cupcake craft challenge.  The lovely Delphine has set the theme this week and she has chosen “bookworm” so we want to see an image with a book on it, someone reading a book or a bookmark.  I decided to use an image of books (and a bookworm) and make a bookmark.  Here it is:

CCC challenge 143 - bookworm

CCC challenge 143 - bookworm (close up 1)

CCC challenge 143 - bookworm (close up 2)

The fun image is from Karen’s doodles and is called ‘reading is fun’ and I coloured him with my promarkers.  I also coloured my white ribbon with my meadow green promarker so that it would match my project.  The papers are from Echo Park ‘springtime’ paper pack (I won a sample pack from the Claudia & company challenge a few weeks ago and it is lush! ).

Our sponsor this week is Crafty Emma’s store and one lucky winner will receive a £10.00 gift voucher to spend in her online store.

Crafty Emma's store new logo

Don’t forget we also have our ‘icing on the cupcake’ monthly sponsor and for May that is Crafts U Love and they are offering a £15.00 voucher to spend in their online store.

The rest of the cupcakes have made amazing samples as usual this week, so please pop over to the challenge blog and check them out.  We really appreciate all the lovely comments you leave for us.

I would like to enter my bookmark into the following challenges:

I’ll be back later to add these!

Ok, so that’s my lot for today.  I hope you will be able to join in with our challenge and I cannot wait to see your gorgeous creations.  Whatever you’re up today I hope you have a wonderful day (even if it’s just at work like me!).  Thanks for stopping by.

Stamp with fun #112–DT card

Good morning everyone, I hope you’ve all had a brilliant weekend.  Mine was quiet but at least I wasn’t at work lol!  I wish the weather would make up it’s mind though, one minute it’s lovely sunshine and the next it’s pouring down with rain.  I really hope we have a nicer summer this year, fingers crossed.

I’m back to share my card for this week’s stamp with fun challenge and we have a lovely sketch by Tina46 to use.  Here is the sketch:

and here is my card:

SWF #112 - sketch

SWF #112 - sketch (close up)

I’ve used a super cute image from DigiStamp Boutique which is part of a set of two called “birthday dinos” and coloured him with my promarkers.  I only used die cut stars and pearls for the embellishments as in my family men don’t like fussy cards!  I really enjoying using the sketch and will definitely be using it again.

The rest of the DT have made gorgeous cards once again this week, so please pop over to the challenge blog and check them out.  We really appreciate all the lovely comments you leave for us.

I would also like to enter my card into the following challenges:

I’ll add these in later as I’m scheduling my post at 2am and I’m really tired now!!

I hope you will be able to join in with our challenge this week and I can’t wait to see what you do with Tina’s sketch.  I would also like to welcome my newest followers – Jojan, Claudia and Brodders aka Jane – welcome all and thank you so much for deciding to follow me.  I will return the favour as soon as I can.  I hope you will call back later to check out my DT card for this week’s cupcake craft challenge but until then thanks for stopping by.

Charisma cardz #19–DT card

Good morning dear friends, I hope you are all having a brilliant week so far.  Work has been extremely busy this week but at least the time goes quicker that way lol!  It’s Thursday so that means it’s time for a brand new challenge over at charisma cardz challenge.  This week the lovely Carol has set the theme and she has chosen “birthdays in pink”,  which is obviously going to be a very popular theme I think!

We are sponsored this week by Robyn’s Fetish and the prize is  5 digital stamps or 4 digital stamps and 1 digital paper set of their choice.  The DT were lucky enough to be given one of their images to use on our cards this week and I chose ‘waking up birdie’ which would also be ideal as a new home card too.

Robyn's Fetish logo

Here is my card:

charisma cardz #20 - pink birthdays

charisma cardz #20 - pink birthdays (close up)

I have to say that I really struggled with my card, even though I really love pink!!  I made the mistake of colouring my image first (which I never do) and then I couldn’t find the right papers that seemed to fit!!  I settled on my standby of gingham, which I bet you are all sick of seeing lol!  I kept the layout fairly simple with just a few punched flowers, pearls and a punched butterfly but I think it looks quite fresh.  I hope you agree!

The rest of the DT have created gorgeous samples once again this week, so please pop over to the challenge blog and check them out.  We really appreciate all the lovely comments you leave for us.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
