Winter wonderland–DT card

Happy Saturday everyone.  Did you all watch the Royal Wedding yesterday?  I wasn’t planning on watching it (apart from a quick glimpse at the dress) but ending up glued to the TV until the coverage finished at 4.00pm lol!  Her dress was gorgeous and they seemed so happy.  I wish them a happy and healthy future together.

In all the excitement yesterday I completely forgot to schedule my post to show you my DT card for this week’s winter wonderland challenge!!  The lovely Marianne has set the theme and she has chosen “snow much fun”, but she doesn’t want to see simply snowmen etc she wants to see people having fun in the snow i.e. skating, making a snowman etc.  Here is my card:

WW #7 - snow much fun

WW #7 - snow much fun (close up)

I used a super cute image from Phindy’s place, which I recently won in one of their challenges.  I went for a fairly bright colour scheme but I quite like it.  Since I still had my flowersoft out on my desk I decided to use it on the snowflakes and on the ground, then it was the obligatory snowflake and some pearls and my card was done!

Our sponsor this week is stamping dragon designs and the lucky winner will receive 3 digi images of their choice.

Passion for promarkers #97–DT card

Happy Tuesday dear friends.  Isn’t it a great feeling to know there are only 3 working days this week *woohoo*, not that I really dislike my job, but I’d much rather craft all day lol!  I’m here to share my card for this week’s passion for promarkers challenge.  This week Sarah has set the theme and she has chosen “pre-historic”, now don’t panic too much, it’s not as bad as it sounds lol!  Here is my card:

PFP challenge 97 - pre-historic

PFP challenge 97 - pre-historic (close up)

I have used a super cute image from the greeting farm which is from the ‘happy day’ set.  I cut the brown mat with my new-ish go-kreate die and I think it makes a nice change from my usual lots of layers.  I wanted to use the dinosaur paper from basic grey ‘archaic’ paper pad but unfortunately I only had a tiny scrap left, so I decided to make a “badge” to use as an embellishment.

Our sponsor this week is Crafter’s Companion and this is the first time they have sponsored us.  They are offering one lucky winner a £20.00 voucher to spend in their online store.  They have lots of gorgeous stamps to use with your promarkers, so you will be spoilt for choice.

Hello again, I’m back as promised to share with you my DT card for this week’s cupcake craft challenge.  The lovely Shelly has set the theme this week and she has chosen ‘fluffy bunnies’.  Easter and bunnies are optional but you must include something fluffy on your project i.e. flowersoft, pom poms etc!  Here is my card:

CCC challenge #139 - fluffy bunnies

CCC challenge #139 - fluffy bunnies (close up)

Sorry my pics are a bit dark today, not sure why but I hope you can see in the close up pic that I have added flowersoft to the spots on the egg and also stickles on the dots on her bow!  The image is from one of our sponsors the stamping boutique and is called ‘bunny egg’ – isn’t it just so sweet.  I have coloured it with promarkers.  I cut out 3 ovals using my oval nesties to signify eggs but not sure if they look the part lol!

To celebrate Easter we have extra sponsors this week!!  We have make the day special who are offering a fantastic stamp set to one lucky winner.

Stamp with fun #108–DT card

Good morning everyone.  I hope you have all had a wonderful Easter weekend and got the chance to eat some yummy chocolate goodness lol!  I’ve had a quiet weekend but it’s been so lovely having the extra two days off from work, and it’s even better that I only have to work 3 days this week *yay*.  The new challenge over at stamp with fun challenge this week is a fantastic sketch by Tina46 to work with.  Here is the sketch:

and here is my card:

SWF #108 - sketch

SWF #108 - sketch (close up)

I have used a super sweet image from DigiStamp Boutique called ‘fairy Lucy’ and obviously coloured her with my promarkers.  Over at DSB for April the ‘Lucy Smith collection’ is one of the “offers of the month”, so go and grab a bargain while you still can!  I know the colours are a little unusual for a girl’s card but I fancied a change from pink (shock I know).  The sketch is fantastic to work with and I hope you will be able to join in so that I can see your interpretations.

The rest of the design team have created amazing samples for your inspiration as always, so please pop over to the challenge blog to check them out.  We really appreciate the lovely comments you leave for us.

Passion for promarkers #96–DT card

Happy Good Friday everyone.  I hope you all have a wonderful Easter weekend.  I’ve got nothing planned but it is soooo nice to have a long weekend off from work lol!  Oh my goodness I thought I was going to be so organised this week with my posts but here we are again with my DT card for the passion for promarkers challenge 3 days late!!  I don’t know what happened but it’s better late than never I suppose haha!  This week’s theme has been set by Nic and she has chosen “white on white”, which I really like the look of, but it’s something that I always seem to struggle with!  Here is my card:

PFP challenge 96 - white on white

PFP challenge 96 - white on white (close up)

I’m sorry that the photos are so naff but I must have taken about 15 photos and these were the best, they were either too dark or way too light – as it’s so white it is really difficult to capture properly.  I hope you can use your imagination as the card is much nicer IRL honest!  It’s difficult to tell in the photos but apart from distressing all the edges I also stickled them to within an inch of their lives, so it is really sparkly (shame you can’t see it!).  I have used a super fun image from Bugaboo stamps, that I recently won in one of their challenges and the sentiment also comes with the image.  I went with a cool blue colour scheme as I thought it would be a nice and crisp contrast to all the white.

Our sponsor this week is DigiStamp Boutique and the lucky winner will receive a £10.00 voucher to spend in their online store.  You will be spoilt for choice as Sally-Ann has so many gorgeous images to choose from.

** THIS IS MY SECOND POST FOR TODAY **

PLEASE SCROLL DOWN TO SEE MY STAMP WITH FUN DT CARD

Hello, I’m back again to share with you my DT card for this week’s cupcake craft challenge.  The lovely Liza has set the theme this week and she has chosen “lots of layers” which as regular visitors will know is something that I love and use on most of my cards!  Here is my card (which is my card for hubby):

CCC challenge 138 - lots of layers

CCC challenge 138 - lots of layers (close up)

I have used a brand new digi (for me) from Kenny K called ‘super hero’ and coloured him with promarkers.  I have to say that I’m really pleased with my colouring on this image, which is very rare for me and it actually looks much better IRL haha!  Again a fairly simple card with not too many embellishments, otherwise they would be wasted on hubby – he’ll probably only give it a moment’s glance as it is!!

Our sponsor this week is Crafty Emma’s store and the lucky winner will receive a £10.00 voucher to spend in her online store.

Don’t forget we also have our ‘Icing on the Cupcake’ sponsor, who for April is Bunny Zoe’s crafts and they lucky winner drawn at random at the end of the month will receive a £15.00 voucher to spend in their online store.

Stamp with fun #107–DT card

Happy Monday everyone, where did the weekend go?  I hope you had a good one, even if it did whizz by.  The kiddies are home from school  for the Easter holidays so at least I will have a bit more time to myself in the mornings lol!  I’m here this morning to share with you my DT card for this week’s stamp with fun challenge and this week we have a super easy theme for you of “happy birthday”.  I’m sure we’ll have lots of gorgeous entries!!  As luck would have it I needed a birthday card for my darling husband, whose birthday it is today (HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY DARLING HEATH!) and this is the card I made him from the boys:

SWF #107 - happy birthday

SWF #107 - happy birthday (close up)

I have used a super cute image from wild rose studio called ‘cheers’ which I'm embarrassed to say I’ve had for ages and this is the first time I’ve inked it up!!  This image is perfect for hubby as he likes a pint or two lol!  I’ve kept the layout very simple as he’s not a card person (I know sacrilege but he’s always been the same).

The rest of the design team have created gorgeous samples once again so please pop over and check them out.  We really appreciate all the lovely comments you leave for us.

Winter wonderland #–DT card

Good morning dear friends, here is another catch up post from me!  Hopefully things will return to normal now as my dad is finally home from hospital and is doing really well.  I’m taking my tablets, like a good girl (lol!), so I’m hoping I will start to feel back to normal soon as well (well as normal as I can!).  Ok, onto the reason you are here – to see a card!  This is my card for this week’s winter wonderland challenge and Lynsey has chosen the theme of “a little mistletoe”.  Here is my card:

WW #6 - a little mistletoe

WW #6 - a little mistletoe (close up)

I had a bit of a panic when I heard the theme and couldn’t think of one single image I had that included mistletoe but after wracking my little brain and checking my digi images I found this cutie from Prairie Fairy. I have coloured her with promarkers in fairly traditional colours.

Our sponsor this week is Crafty Emma’s store and the lucky winner will receive a £10.00 voucher to spend in her online store.
