Cupcake craft challenge #101 – DT card

Hello again, I’m back to share my DT card for this week’s cupcake craft challenge.  This week I’ve had the pleasure of choosing the theme and as I’m yet to start my Christmas cards properly I have gone with “pastel Christmas”.  There are quite a few Christmas themes around blogland at the moment so you should be getting a good head start with your cards :)  Here is my card:

I was lucky enough to win Mo’s challenge a few weeks ago and this is the image I chose as my prize – isn’t she just so sweet.  I know she isn’t coloured in her traditional colours but I think she looks equally as beautiful.  I will also shock you when you realise I haven’t used any pattern papers on my card at all – I know I’m feeling faint!!

Our sponsor this week is Papermom and the lucky winner will receive 3 digi images of their choice.

My mother asked me to make a wedding card for her nephew (my cousin) so I thought I’d combine the two.  I hope she likes it as it’s the first time I’ve made a “distressed” wedding card!  Here is my card:

Truly scrumptious DT call

Over at the Truly Scrumptious challenge they have a DT call out (although it ends later tonight) and I’ve thought about it all week and have decided to have a go.  The requirement is that you share your two favourite cards in a separate post.  It is really difficult to choose my favourite two cards but I have settled on these:

I really like the colour scheme on this one and although I don’t use my WOJ images that often I really do enjoy colouring them when I do.

image

I picked this one as for a start it’s pink and also I’ve just discovered some odd girl images and I think they are so cute and funky.

image

There are so many talented crafters out there that I probably won’t get chosen but if I don’t try I definitely won’t be chosen lol!  Good luck to everyone else that has entered the DT call.

I will hopefully be back later with my candy post but if I can’t get a decent picture I may leave it until tomorrow.  It’s really gloomy and wet here today.  Thanks for stopping by.

Passion for promarkers #60 – DT card

Hello everyone, it’s the day after my birthday, which makes me kinda sad ‘cos I had such a good day yesterday.  Thank you for all your wonderful birthday messages – it makes me so happy to be part of this wonderful community of thoughtful and generous people.

I’m here to share with you my DT card for this week’s passion for promarkers challenge.  This week Julie has set the challenge and her theme is “animals” so we would like to see your animal images, but of course they must be coloured with your promarkers to be eligible for our prize draw.  Here is my card:

PFP challenge 60 - animal colours (close up)

Over at PFP we are proud to be offering a prize on the A spoonfull of sugar challenge card drive for Michelle and as our theme was a perfect fit for their free donkey image/sentiments most of the DT have used this image on their cards this week.  It’s amazing how different all our cards look even though we’ve used the same image.  If you haven’t had a chance to pick up the image yet pop over to the ASFOS blog and grab it and of course send a card to Michelle.

Our sponsor this week is Simon Says Stamp and one lucky winner will receive a $10.00 voucher to spend in their online store.

Cupcake craft challenge #99 – DT card

** This is my second post for today **

Please scroll down to see my Stamp with Fun DT card

Hello again, I’m back with my card for this week’s cupcake craft challenge.  Our theme this week has been set by Victoria and she would like us to use acetate on our projects.  Now I haven’t used acetate for a very long time and when I eventually found some in my stash I decided to make a shaker easel card.  Here is my card (I apologise for the photos but the acetate was really hard to photograph):

CCC challenge 99 - acetate

CCC challenge 99 - acetate (view 2)

CCC challenge 99 - acetate (view 4)

In the next photo the acetate really glares but I wanted to show you the embossing on the acetate a little closer

CCC challenge 99 - acetate (view 5)

Some of my “shaker” snowflakes did stick to the foam pads but overall I am really pleased with the final result, especially as I haven’t made a shaker card for years.

Our sponsor this week is Paper Jewels and the lucky winner will receive a $15.00 gift voucher to spend in their online store.  They have some gorgeous stamps for sale so you will be spoilt for choice.

Stamp with fun #67 – DT card

Before I go into the details of this week’s SWF challenge I am celebrating my birthday today *yay* and my wonderful husband has bought me a new printer *woohoo* which I so desperately needed.  I think I moaned so much about my old printer last week that he finally had enough and he gave it to me a little early so that I could use it for my DT cards this week (bless him).  I will be celebrating my birthday with blog candy on Wednesday so please pop back then for details.

This week over at stamp with fun challenge our theme is fairies.  We think this will be a very popular theme and we expect to see lots of lovely girly creations.  For my card I used new image (launched the beginning of July) from DigiStamp Boutique.  This is one of the current ‘offer of the month’ and there are 2 more super cute images in this collection available at a very special price for the month of July.  Here is my card:
