Charisma cardz #30 - DT card

Good morning everyone, it's Thursday so that means a brand new challenge over at charisma cardz challenge. This week we have a lovely theme for you of "4 legged friends", so we want to see all your animal images (but they have to have 4 legs, no more, no less!!). Here is my card:

I have used a super cute image from DigiStamp Boutique called "Barney with flower" and coloured him with my promarkers. I wanted to make a shaped card for a change but the finished card hasn't ended up anything like I intended lol! I used one of my go-kreate dies in the grand caliber to make the card base and circle nesties for the image. I inked all the edges with a chalk inkpad but my hand slipped when going around the image, hence the large smudge at the bottom - oops! Never mind it adds to the distressed look haha.

We have two sponsors this week, firstly we have DigiStamp Boutique and the lucky winner will receive 6 digi images of their choice and our second sponsor is Bunny Zoe crafts (please check the challenge post for details of their prize).

The rest of the design team have created amazing samples once again this week, so please pop over to the challenge blog and check them out. We really appreciate the lovely comments you leave for us.

I would like to enter the following challenges:

Whoopsi daisy challenge - anything bug square

The Crazy challenge - ribbons

Die cut dreams challenge - animal antics

Lexi's creations challenge - shaped card

Lollipop crafts challenge - anything goes

Totally stampalicious challenge - anything goes

Passion for promarkers #110–DT card

Good morning dear friends.  I had a great day in work yesterday – I was so busy that it was home time before I had time to look around (I love days like that) and I hope the rest of the week follows suit lol!  We are planning on going away for a few days next week, so I have to make sure I’m organised with all my DT cards this week.  Now as most of my DT bosses will attest to is that I am always last minute with my cards so I really have to make the extra effort this week!!

Today it is time for a brand new challenge over at passion for promarkers challenge and the lovely Tracy has set the theme and she has chosen “animal crackers”.  It is such a simple theme this week, all you have to do is simply include an animal of any kind on your card or project.  Of course you must use your promarkers or aqua markers to be eligible for our prize draw.  Here is my card:

PFP challenge 110 - animal crackers

I have used a super sweet image from Pollycraft called ‘Baxter & Bridget – sweethearts’, which I thought was ideal for an engagement card I was asked to make.  The glittery papers are DCWV from the ‘sorbet’ paper stack.   I really like the fresh colour scheme and pretty flower lace, which matches Bridget’s garland in her hair.

Our sponsor this week is Letraset and the lucky winner will receive a gorgeous stamping kit.

Cupcake craft challenge #152–DT card

Hello again friends, I’m back once more this morning to share with you my DT card for this week’s cupcake craft challenge.  This week the lovely Sari has set the theme and she has chosen “shabby sparkle”, so we would like to see all your shabby and sparkly creations.  Now as you probably know I don’t really do shabby that well, mine always seem to end up distressed but hey that’s way a challenge is all about I suppose.  Here is my card:

CCC challenge 152 - shabby & sparkly

CCC challenge 152 - shabby & sparkly (close up)

I have used a gorgeous image from sassy studio designs called “skater sassy” and coloured her with my promarkers.  The papers/cardstock are all DCWV from their “vintage” card kit.  The papers already look shabby so I just roughed up and inked all the edges and add stickles to really make them sparkle (please click on the images for a closer look at the sparkle).  The sentiment is from Raindrop Echo and is part of the ‘wild side ticket sentiments’ and I made some shabby lollipop flowers.

Our sponsor this week is sassy studio designs and one lucky winner will receive 4 digi images of their choice.  As you can see from my card their images are definitely sassy!

Don’t forget we also have our ‘icing on the cupcake’ sponsor and for July that is polka doodles  and the lucky winner will receive 4 Christmas stamps.

Good morning dear friends.  Why does the weekend have to go so fast, I can’t believe it’s Monday morning already!!  Although it does mean a brand new challenge over at stamp with fun challenge.  This week we have a lovely theme for you of “friends” so you can make whatever you like as long as it’s for your friend!  Here is my card:

SWF #121 - friends

SWF #121 - friends (close up)

I have used two super sweet images from DigiStamp Boutique called ‘Molly Spencer’ and ‘Mum Spencer’ from the ‘Spencer Family’ collection, although I made mum the same size as Molly so that they looked like best friends.  The paper, which is by doodlebug is really old and has been in my stash for ages, but I think it’s really bright and summery.  The “friends” sentiment is actually a sticker, which has been in my stash for many years, and again it’s by doodlebug.

Winter wonderland challenge–DT card

Good morning dear friends, another week has flown by and we are another week closer to Christmas lol!  It’s just as well I’m part of the winter wonderland challenge DT as I now have a well organised stack of cards ready and won’t be rushing last minute as I normally do.  To help you build up your own stash of Christmas cards we have another brilliant challenge over at winter wonderland and we would like to see your cards feature “holly and/or ivy”, it can be as little or much as you like.  We know that many of you may not have any ivy so as long as you include holly that will be fine.  Here is my card:

WW #13 - holly or ivy

WW #13 - holly or ivy (close up 1)

WW #13 - holly or ivy (close up 2)

Don’t faint I have actually used a real life stamp!!  It’s the gorgeous new stamp from Sugar Nellie called “furry friends” and I’ve coloured it with my promarkers.  I have a feeling this will be used lots for my Christmas cards this year as it is so adorable yet it doesn’t need much colouring to make it look fantastic.  The holly is a sizzix sizzlit die and I’ve added pearls as the berries, which I think looks really nice.  A really simple card but the image is so super cute that I didn’t want to take your eye away from it too much.

Our sponsor this week is Simon Says Stamp and the lucky winner will receive a $15.00 gift certificate to spend in their online store.

Charisma cardz #29–DT card

Good morning dear friends.  Well another week is whizzing by and it’s Thursday already which means a brand new challenge over at charisma cardz challenge.  I have the pleasure of setting the theme this week and when we were asked to choose our themes way back at the beginning of the year I was expecting mid July to be blazing sunshine and lovely and hot (how wrong was I!!) so my theme is “sunshine colours”.  You can make whatever you like just as long as it reminds me of summer.  Here is my card:

charisma cardz #29 - sunshine colours

charisma cardz #29 - sunshine colours (close up)

I have used a fab image from sassy studio designs called ‘flapper2’ and I coloured her with my promarkers.  The yellow gingham paper has been in my stash for years ? maybe Joanna Sheen, but not 100% sure and the patterned paper is basic grey I think but can’t remember which pad (sorry I’m so vague but I used odd sheets I found in my stash when I had a bit of a tidy up lol!).  I kept the layout pretty simple but I think it looks ok.

We have two sponsors this week, firstly we have make it crafty who are offering 3 digis of the winner’s choice.

make it crafty shop badge

Our second sponsor is Meljen’s designs and the lucky winner will receive 4 digi images of their choice.

Stamp with fun #120–DT card

Good morning dear friends.  I hope you had a great weekend, although it was probably a wash-out, cos it certainly was here.  We did see some spells of sunshine but they were soon drowned away lol!  Never mind at least I had good news on Friday – my dad was able to come home from hospital *yay*.  He still needs to have some tests and has to go back for blood tests but at least he’s home and he’s feeling much better than last weekend.  In total he lost 1st 2lbs in weight after treatment for water retention during his hospital stay.  I wish I could have a diet that works that well and that quickly lol!!  He wanted me to thank you all for your lovely messages whilst he has been in hospital.

Onto today’s card and it’s for the brand new challenge today over at stamp with fun challenge.  This week we have a brilliant sketch by Tina46 to use and here is my card:
